Right Now Roofing was established in 1996 by Nathan Houston to offer top quality workmanship and materials at an affordable price. In 2011 he was joined in partnership by Chris Drabble who now runs the New Zealand operations, with Nathan running Australia.

Chris Drabble

Since 1980
Joining the company in 2011, Chris is a 50% Shareholder Partner, responsible for Right Now Roofing NZ’s executive leadership and the firms’ strategy. He is also responsible for all aspects of Right Now Roofing’s relationship with employees and customers. Chris takes pride in his work and gets jobs done on time and on budget in a safe methodical manner.
Prior to his current role, Chris was the Contracts Director of a large UK-based roofing and cladding company. Chris started roofing in 1980 and has worked with a broad range of clients including large developers, body corporates, local builders as well as a significant number of house owners. He treats each job with the same respect and commitment to ensure that it is done to the Building Code of Compliance and exactly as the customer requires.
Chris is now a proud Kiwi citizen and has the wealth of knowledge that has helped to build Right Now Roofing into a respected robust company, giving peace of mind for all customers.
Nathan Houston

Raised in Dunedin in the Otago region of the South Island, Nathan formed Right Now roofing in Dunedin before relocating to the North Island a few years later – setting up the company in the growing town of Warkworth.
The Company continues to service the Rodney region but now services the whole Auckland area from it’s new headquarters in North Auckland.
He moved to Sydney in 2012 to open Right Now Roofing in Australia, where it has since been amalgamated into ANZ Roofing – and continues to grow as one of Sydney’s most reputable roofing contractors.
ANZ Roofing specialise in Strata and Commercial roofs, currently looking after hundreds of Court Houses and other Public buildings for NSW Government.
Nathan travels to Auckland regularly where he continues to play an active role in Right Now Roofing NZ.
John
Contracts manger
Since 1982
John is our Contract Manager and Estimator. He has owned his own roofing company in Australia and has also worked with Dimond in New Zealand for 14 years. He has a wealth of knowledge about roofing and all forms of cladding and is always popular with our clients. John covers projects throughout Auckland and Rodney District.
Gareth

Gareth is now one of our more senior roofers running his own crew, having been with Right Now Roofing NZ since 2007. Gareth is a pleasant-natured guy whose quiet and competent ways enable all to work with him successfully.
Gareth is very organised and can always be relied upon to complete jobs in an efficient and prompt manner.
Tom
Supervisor
Since 2012
Tom has been with Right Now Roofing NZ since 2012 and has proved himself to be a keen and eager member of our team. He shows initiative in getting the job done and now runs his own crew.
He supervises health and safety and also has a very high standard of workmanship. Tom has a great relationship with all clients, working hard to execute every job, whether large or small, working what ever hours the job demands to get done on time. He is always a cheerful presence on site.
Luke

Luke started with Right Now Roofing at the age of 18, in 2004. Luke is now fully experienced and has proved himself to be competent in all aspects of roofing.
Luke’s excellent knowledge coupled together with his can-do attitude ensures he can complete even the trickiest of jobs.
